“What is the Market telling Stocker/Yearling Operators?” Meeting and Ranch Tour

Understanding what market conditions are telling you together with risk management and marketing strategy are a key component to business success for stocker/yearling operators. This will be the main theme of a meeting and ranch tour scheduled for Friday, July 12 at the Calamus Outfitters meeting facility northwest of Burwell.

The morning program will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Central Time In the afternoon, a tour of the Gracie Creek ranch is planned. Following the tour, a producer panel of area stocker/yearling operators will allow for attendees to participate in a roundtable discussion related to stocker/yearling management.

To register to attend the program, please contact the Nebraska Extension office in Burwell at 308-346-4200. The cost of the program is $30 and is payable at the door. Please register by Monday, July 8 for a meal count.
