Award recognizes agricultural landowners for outstanding voluntary stewardship
Mark Your Calendar for Thursday April 19th for the Announcement of the 2018 Nebraska Leopold Conservation Award Winner!
It all starts at 1:00 pm with the Nebraska Governor’s Office annual announcement of the 13th Nebraska Leopold Conservation Award recipient. The Governor’s Office will be joined by the Sand County Foundation and AFAN to celebrate the story of the newest member of the Nebraska Leopold Conservation Award Family. Please join us in the Governors Press room located in the North East corner of the State Capitol Building.

The Nebraska Cattlemen association serves as the representative for the state’s beef cattle industry and represents professional cattle breeders, ranchers and feeders, as well as county and local cattlemen’s associations. Its headquarters are in Lincoln with satellite offices around the state to best serve members.
